After Boy and Girl Are Stabbed, Anger Over a Lack of Cameras

New York Times

By. Tyler Plummer

Two children were reportedly stabbed in a Brooklyn public housing project by a man in a elevator. People in resident saw a man fleeing the scene after the incident. The 7 years old girl is critical condition in the hospital and the 6 years old boy was pronounced dead. Living in project housing in Brooklyn is not safe and dangerous but no feared sending their children to play or sending them to go somewhere.  In these Brooklyn projects houses there are no surveillance cameras in most of them which is bad because it makes it way more difficult to solve cases like these.

I think that all builds should have surveillance systems to keep the builds safer. The violence has come to a point where grown men are killing children and that should not be accepted by the community and the city. I think that the best way to get there point across is to protest and force the government to put more money forward to getting cameras for housing projects
